July 1st, 2021 marked the 40-year anniversary of Insero Air Traffic Solutions. A software company aiding airports and ANSPs meet future capacity, automation, digital transformation, and safety needs.

- Horsens, Denmark.

Last week, the Denmark-based Insero Air Traffic Solutions marked the 40-year anniversary of the founding of the company. Since the beginning in 1981, Insero Air Traffic Solutions has progressed into a trusted supplier of air traffic solutions in Northern Europe keeping air traffic safe, efficient, and sustainable.

“I would like to thank all customers and partners for their continuous trust in Insero Air Traffic Solutions. Our lasting success in an ever changing industry is due to lasting partnerships with airports and ANSPs. I am looking very much forward to the years to come and future partnerships “, says Michael H. Tandrup, CEO of Insero Air Traffic Solutions.

Insero Air Traffic Solutions was founded in 1981 in Horsens, Denmark under the former name ‘Dansk System Elektronik’ by Anders Midtgaard, Ib Havn and Peter Jørgensen. The purpose of the company was to develop controls and measurement systems for the industry. Over time, the company was divided into three separate divisions: test instruments for the wire industry, an industry division, and a division focusing on software solutions for airports – the sole focus of Insero Air Traffic Solutions today.

Throughout the years, our name may have changed but our purpose has always prevailed – to innovate, develop and rethink software solutions to aid our customers and partners accommodate present and future challenges – a true testament to the expertise and dedication from all former and present employees”, says Michael H. Tandrup, CEO of Insero Air Traffic Solutions.

Air traffic solutions designed to accelerate performance
The product suite today cover all needs of air traffic controllers to operate approach and tower positions including Radar Display (RADIS), Flight Data Processing (AIMS), Electronic Flight Strips (E-STRIP), Remote Control and Monitoring (RCMS), and Meteorological Surveillance (AWOS). Latest addition to the product suite is the Insero AviSky. A real-time data fusion and processing platform supporting digital transformation for Airports, ANSPs and Remote Towers.

“Air traffic behavior is changing at a faster pace than ever before – partly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite of that, I am pleased that we continuously create operational value for our customers while also improving our financial status and growth. We are optimistic for the future of Insero Air Traffic Solutions and the future solutions to be developed for and in corporation with our partners”, concludes Michael H. Tandrup, CEO of Insero Air Traffic Solutions.
