Intelcan - PANSA sign contract for SKYSURV PSR and MSSR in Poland
Intelcan signed a contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of the collated SKYSURV Primary Surveillance Radar (PSR) and SKYSURV Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar (MSSR) at Warsaw and Krakow international airports in Poland. Intelcan is working to provide the Polish Air Navigation Services Agency (PANSA) with solutions to the challenge of growing air traffic.
The two radar systems will be integrated with the National Air Traffic Management System. The radar implementation is on schedule for completion by the end of 2015 and will support national and regional Air Traffic Management Systems and radar control on Polish territory.
SKYSURV PSR is the latest generation primary radar for terminal/approach control applications. SKYSURV MSSR is a fully integrated, flexible secondary radar system that can be installed as standalone equipment or integrated with a new or existing PSR.
“Intelcan is committed to PANSA’s long-term modernization project through a comprehensive implementation of SKYSURV and service that extends throughout the life cycle of the equipment”, says Intelcan Vice President, Zvi Glanz.
