SELEX Sistemi Integrati secures Euro 2012

Between 2010 and 2011, just in view of the championship, SELEX Sistemi Integrati supplied and put into operation the air traffic control centre for the Kiev region, the aircrafts ground movements system and the en route, approach and meteorological radars for the Kiev airports Boryspol and Juliani.

Again to reinforce security during Euro 2012 the Finmeccanica company also supplied air traffic control and meteorological radars for the airports of Lvov, Kharkov e Donetsk, where, in these days, some of the football matches have been taking place.

The technical excellence, together with the systems reliability of SELEX Sistemi Integrati were also appreciated by the Italian ambassador in Kiev Fabrizio Romano, on the occasion of his visit in the new UKSATSE (the Ukrainian air traffic service provider) centre, set into Kiev international airport at Boryspol, held in the frame of the events connected to Euro 2012.
