Emergency SITTI VCS to Armenia
ARMATS, the Armenian Air Navigation Service Provider, awarded SITTI the supply of a new emergency Voice Communication System (VCS) to be installed in ARMATS Emergency Centre nearby ZVARTNOTS Yerevan International Airport. The new system complements the main system, also supplied by SITTI about 8 years ago and currently in full use.
The new emergency system belongs to the MULTIFONO® M800IP® VCS family and encompasses 28 analogue radio channels, 66 analogue telephone lines and 3 controller working positions, together with VoIP ED 137 features for future expansion. The excellent performance of SITTI VCS systems guarantees an extremely high availability ratio (above 99.9999%) thanks to the duplicated connection to all system parts, thus greatly enhancing reliability and resilience to adverse operational scenarios.
The supplied system to Yerevan underlines the trust that all Caucasian countries put in the Italian manufacturer. In fact, neighboring countries are also profitably using SITTI systems for their air space control needs. The top-edge characteristics of the supplied systems contribute in making the skies over this vital transit region safer for the constantly increasing number of travelers to and from Europe and Asia.
SITTI is a primary VCS manufacturer and supplier worldwide, capable of giving prompt and top edge solution answers to Customer needs, both in the Civilian and Military fields. The leading edge, redundant, non-blocking architecture of the MULTIFONO® M800IP® provides flexibility and modularity for easy expansion and addition of further functionalities.
