Ubitech Adds DCA Malaysia to its Growing Customer-Base
Ubitech has announced that it has been contracted to provide an AFTN Simulator to the Malaysian Aviation Academy (MAVA), a division of Malaysias Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). The project, being primed by Ubitechs local partner Puncak Teknologi, will be carried out swiftly with a scheduled two month delivery period.
I was very pleased that we were able to respond positively to the short delivery schedule said Michael Hoodspith, Vice-President Operations, I think it reflects well on our teams commitment and desire to ensure customer satisfaction.
The AFTN Simulator will consist of a fully functional AFTN message switch deployed into a classroom environment. A simulation module will generate simulated message traffic to mimic normal operations, or alternatively the instructor can run predefined messaging exercises to match the training curriculum. Once operational, the system will allow MAVA to train the next generation of aviation professionals in the field of ATS messaging.
